On June 30, 2001, I learned how to cross stitch. At a crochet guild meeting we learned to do cross stitching on afghan stitch squares we had previously made. I realized how much fun this was, and I was hooked, so to speak! My aunt had done cross stitch for years, but it never crossed my mind (cough, cough) to try it myself until I was practically forced to do it!
