My second project was the vest from the Leisure Arts leaflet "I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting". Yarn is a Patons Astra "Bright Ideas" ombre (variegated). This was my first lesson in "gauge", as the vest ended up about a foot too wide! Fortunately, this was discovered before the armhole shaping. Rather than frogging the entire fabric (rip it, rip it), my very patient husband carefully cut and de-crocheted the end of each row, and I wove the ends back in!
